Anyone who knows Barry Engelman knows that he was born a natural coach. His coaching skills have been honed on the athletic field and through his business experience and are undeniably evident in his family life.
Barry began coaching fulltime with Building Champions in 1998 after owning his own company in Wisconsin. His initial focus was coaching sales leaders in the skills, disciplines and knowledge needed to excel in the banking industry. Since that time, he has coached sales people and branch managers that are consistently among the best in the nation. Additionally, Barry is coaching production managers and company owners in the leadership skills necessary to lead a team of people to new levels of productivity and efficiency.

As Senior Vice President of Coach Development, Barry is responsible for the development and delivery of the best coach training in the industry. He oversees all curriculum development and hands-on coach training for the Building Champions team of coaches.
Barry and his wife Karin have been married since 1991. They have three boys: Sam, Josh and David. They moved to Oregon in 1997 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and have even remained loyal to the Green Bay Packers. Barry is also an avid fly fisherman. Karin is a 6th grade teacher at a private Christian school and they are both very active in serving at their local church.
