Jessica Traffas
Communications & Office Coordinator
Jessica joined the Building Champions team in 2002. She brings to Building Champions a head for details and a heart for service.
In her role as Communications & Office Coordinator, Jessica takes on a diverse range of responsibilities. As the "front line" on the phones and in the office, she endeavors to greet each person who comes into contact with Building Champions in a friendly and professional manner. She considers herself to be an ambassador of the company vision and the team culture. Jessica also handles office operations to keep things running smoothly for her teammates. Additionally, she utilizes her talent for writing in the content and publication of the monthly Building Champions newsletter. She has also written several articles.
Jessica grew up in Sacramento, CA and moved to Oregon while in high school. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2000 with a degree in Theatre Arts. During college, she worked as a barista at Starbucks®, where she developed top-notch customer service skills. Upon joining the Building Champions team, Jessica served initially as an Assistant Coach and coordinator for the Masters’ Coach program. She loves working in a place where she knows she makes a difference in the lives of others.
In September of 2004 Jessica married her college sweetheart, Steve Traffas. Together they enjoy all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, including hiking, camping, and travel. In June of 2009, she took on a new role as she and Steve welcomed the newest member of their family, Henry Oliver Traffas. Jessica is committed to expanding her knowledge, caring for her friends and family, and living her Life Plan every day.
