Women don't have a lot of mentors. I didn't. That's why I want to help - because I've been there.

In my 30 years of mortgage banking, I started out operationally, but I was a production person, so it allows me to see both sides.

Given her knack for numbers and people, along with a proven track record leading businesses and teams, Jeannette has a unique ability to help people grow their business while increasing their leadership and influence. Jeannette joined the Building Champions team in 2012 so that she could share over 20 years of management, leadership and coaching experience with her clients and add value to their lives.

Jeannette began her professional career as a processor and then went on to fund, underwrite and learn every aspect of branch operations for a mortgage banking company. Her first 10 years included work at almost every level of the organization, including Branch Manager and Regional Vice President. She then launched a new division in Consumer Direct lending and was soon promoted to a Senior Vice President in one of the nation's largest mortgage bankers. As SVP, Jeannette was responsible for managing over 50 branches and their teams along with six Regional Vice Presidents.

She also has over five years consulting experience, working with executive teams on special projects. Most recently she coached non-profit organizations and leaders.

Jeannette currently lives with her husband, CEO Mentor and Executive Coach Jerry Baker, on a ranch in Colorado where you can find her caring for her many dogs, cats and horses. Most importantly, they are committed to spending time with their family and grandkids and serving their community.
