She has a proven track record transforming individual performance, executive boards and fractured teams to claim trust, confidence and engagement for their greatest potential and bright future. Martha is skilled at navigating silos to create business outcomes, drive change and help establish a creative compelling vision to energize, retain and attract top talent. 

Martha commits to see every client succeed and leverages their strengths to achieve goals they previously thought too difficult to reach. She helps leaders build complementary teams where everyone’s unique strengths shine. She believes that 20% of actions account for 80% of results and helps her clients discern which actions will help them make the most of their time and talents to increase their productivity and deliver outcomes.

Prior to joining Building Champions, Martha was founder and Director of DO Star Systems, a consulting firm operating in Latin America that supported organizations in leadership development, strategic planning and change management. She trained over 5000 executives on leadership development, execution and selection. She worked as a Lead Instructor and Mentor Coach for ICF coach certifications.

Martha held a Consultant role at FranklinCovey. As Vice-President of People, Culture and Organizational Development in Grupo Entero; a holding multinational firm, she generated strategies that attracted and retained A players, created structures and systems, and promoted both strong values and a strong corporate culture. She sat on the board of directors for a variety of firms in Guatemala City and Latin America. She is currently Vice-President for the Texas Coaches Coalition.

Martha is an ICF, PCC accredited coach since 2018 and is currently pursuing her Master Coach Accreditation. Martha earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business with minors in Finance and Marketing and holds a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. She is the proud mother of two adult sons, who she considers to be her masterpieces in life. Martha has a deep connection with her rescue dog Whitney, enjoys art, music, karaoke, spending time with family and friends and solving Sudoku puzzles. She has lived in Mexico, Austria, Chile, Guatemala, Brazil, Peru and California. She currently resides in San Antonio, Texas.
